The TARDIS materializes on a strange, metal planet. The Doctor, eager to investigate this world, quickly checks the TARDIS scanners to make sure that the air is breathable and steps out onto this strange new world. He quietly mutters to himself how its not the same exploring on his own, and wishes that he could have brought Donna or Martha here. Still, the Doctor's thirst for adventure was as high as it's ever been, and he quickly arrived at the ruins of a futuristic city.
